Missions Prayer Meetings

Last night was our first formal missions prayer meeting at Riverside Community Church. To my great joy we had 14 people show up. Of course I hope and pray that we'll grow each month and my goal is that in one year we would have a tenth of our church joining together once a month in prayer for regional, national and global missions through RCC - that's about 70 people joining together in prayer.

In our first prayer meeting we had a time of welcome and relationship building in simple conversations.
Then I explained the five global giant problems and the simple 5-part solution P.E.A.C.E. We also talked about RCC supported missionaries and missions organizations, shared a few announcements of some local opportunities in the next month or so and then we prayed in small groups for regional, national and global missions. At the end of our meeting we prayed in "mission hall" at the church where our supported missionaries flags and profile pics are located.

Our next prayer meeting is being held on Sunday, November 11th from 6-7 pm in room 105. No need to rsvp, just show up and bring someone with you. We will be meeting regularly on the second Sunday of each month from 6-7 pm in room 105 unless that evening needs to be rescheduled due to holidays or other pressing church events. Please email me for more information or questions. - Dave
